eXtreme's Proximity Mine consists of a small triangular shell for the compressed Transium charge with a spike on the underside. Hit the 'G' key and select the Proximity Mine, and then the 'R' key to ready it. Choose a location and the self-propelled mine spikes itself to the ground there, waiting for any intruders to come along. Unlike the Trip Mine, the Proximity Mine can be deployed in enemy territory.
